ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence
a. At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it or,
b. At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended
Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
The admission of children under the age of 18 to film exhibitions permitted under the terms of this licence shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made
by
() The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) where the film has been classified by that Board, or
() The Licensing Authority where no classification certificate has been granted by the BBFC or where the licensing authority has notified the licence holder that section 20 (3) (b) of the Licensing Act 2003 applies to the film.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The premises shall benefit from disabled facilities to include a lift, ramps and toilets located in public areas.
An incident/accident book shall be maintained at the premises.
A zero tolerance policy towards illegal drugs will be enforced at all times within the premises.
The premises shall be a member of the Pubwatch scheme.
A recognised Proof of Age Policy shall be operated and enforced.
Safety checks shall be conducted on a regular basis.
Suitable first aid facilities for both staff and customers shall be maintained at the premises.
Appropriate Health and Safety arrangements shall be in place for the premises, which shall incorporate annual inspections of the emergency lighting, gas installation and fire alarm system.
A workplace fire risk assessment shall be conducted for the premises.
The fabric of the building should be such as to retain sound as appropriate and that level of sound should be monitored so as to prevent nuisance.
Free drinking water shall be available at all times.
Windows and doors, save for entrance and exit purposes, shall be kept shut.
Appropriate notices shall be displayed at the exits from the premises requesting customers to leave quietly with respect for local residents when leaving the premises.
Children shall only be permitted to the premises with adult supervision.
Children under the age of 16 shall be accompanied at all times in the bar area.
There shall be in place for the premises a policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age which requires any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years to produce a recognised documentation indicating that they are over 18 years of age.
A separate non-smoking room and a separate dining area shall be maintained at the premises.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
All staff shall receive suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
Appropriate measures shall be taken to ensure staff prevent the removal of bottles or glasses from the curtilage and grounds of the licensed premises.
Only toughened glass vessels shall be used to dispense beverages to customers.
At least one personal licence holder shall be available while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken (who’s identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale of alcohol) except in the case of emergency.
Another member of staff shall be nominated to act for the Designated Premises Supervisor, in their absence, whose identity is known by all other staff when such absence occurs
Risk assessments carried out by or on behalf of the Licence holder, which relate to a licensing objective shall be available for inspection by an officer or a Responsible Authority
The premises shall maintain a drinks pricing policy which complies with any Local Authority resolution made in accordance with approval from the Licensee’s Forum or any successor liaison body recognised by the Licensing Authority.
During the final hour of daily trading appropriate announcements shall be made or images projected to remind patrons of the need to leave the premises without causing annoyance, nuisance or disturbance to local residents and to advise patrons of any taxi free-phone or collection arrangements available upon the premises.
The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the licensee or management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
Frequent collection of glasses and bottles shall be undertaken to ensure that empty containers do not accumulate in or around the licensed premises.
