ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence
a. At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it or,
b. At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended
Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
The conditions of this licence do not prohibit:
() consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the premises.
Suitable non-alcoholic beverages, including drinking water, shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Staff shall be given appropriate training in respect of the licensing objectives and be provided with guidance as regards to whom alcoholic beverages shall be served.
There shall be in place for the premises a policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age which requires any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years to produce a recognised documentation indicating that they are over 18 years of age. Such documentation shall be either passport, photo card driving licence or proof of age card.
A zero tolerance policy towards drunkeness shall be enforced at all times within and outside the premises
The designated premises supervisor shall be present at the premises on a regular basis.
The maximum number of persons permitted on the premises shall be restricted to 80.
All fire exits shall be clearly lit and escape routes shall be clearly indicated.
Escape routes and exits shall be kept clear and free from obstruction at all times.
Appropriate fire precautions and fire fighting equipment shall be maintained at the premises and tested on a regular basis.
There shall be available current certification for the premises relating to:
1) Electrical Inspection Report Certificate
2) Fire Alarm Test Inspection Report
3) Emergency Lighting and Test Report
Rubbish shall be disposed of in accordance with guidance issued by the Local Authority and steps shall be taken to ensure that any refuse disposed of does not pose a fire hazard.
Deliveries shall take place at a reasonable hour to minimise any nuisance that may caused to nearby residents.
A licensed taxi service shall be promoted by the premises and staff, when required, shall organise taxis to transport customers home.
Children shall not be permitted on the premises after 9pm, unless attending a family party and parents of children shall be advised that the children shall be kept closely supervised at at all times.
No smoking shall be permitted on the premises.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
All staff shall receive suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this shall be made available to an authorised officer upon request
Appropriate measures shall be taken to ensure staff prevent the removal of bottles or glasses from the curtilage and grounds of the licensed premises.
At least one personal licence holder will be available while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken (who’s identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale of alcohol) except in the case of emergency.
The premises shall be operated in accordance with the principles outlined by the ‘Nightsafe’ Initiative, as are relevant to those premises, and indicated in the associated leaflet.
There shall be substantial refreshment available at all times the premises are open for trade.
The supply of intoxicating liquor shall be waiter/waitress service only and only to persons seated at tables.
There shall be drinks other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) available at all times the premises are open for trade.
