Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions
The restrictions on the times during which the licence authorises the sale by retail of alcohol on the premises, set out in part M of the Licensable Activities section of this licence do not prohibit consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the premises.
The premises must be bona fide used for the purpose of habitually providing the customary main meal at midday or in the evening, or both, for the accommodation of persons frequenting the premises.
Suitable non-alcoholic beverages, including drinking water, shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises.
No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises
licence,
or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 -Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The primary use of the premises shall be as a restaurant.
There shall be a personal licence holder on the premises at all times and more than one at weekends.
A CCTV system covering internal areas, staircases and ground floor entrance shall be provided at the premises and recorded tapes shall be kept for one week.
All staff shall be trained in licensing issues as well as how to deal with complaints and disorderly behaviour.
Children under 14 shall only be allowed admittance onto the premises when accompanied by an adult.
All drinks shall be consumed on the premises.
Appropriate measures shall be taken to prevent the removal of bottled drinks from the licensed premises.
A zero tolerance to drugs policy shall be applied and maintained in respect of the premises
Staff shall assume responsibility for telephoning taxis for customers and appropriate arrangements shall be made to ensure that all taxi drivers come on to the premises to collect their fare thus avoiding customers having to wait outside for their taxi.
In the event that normal lighting is interrupted or affected, emergency lighting shall be provided to the premises.
The three fire exits on the premises shall be kept well lit and kept free from obstruction. The two further fire escapes through windows onto the balcony shall be maintained to ensure they are fully accessible.
All fire fighting equipment on the premises shall be tested annually.
Seating in the dining area shall be non fixed so that it is moveable in the event of emergency.
First aid equipment shall be kept on the premises and all stocks shall be replenished accordingly.
Double glazed units and air conditioning shall be provided at the premises so that no windows need to be opened when music is being played.
The only backing music shall be played within the premises and the volume shall not be above a level to interfere with customers conversations.
All deliveries to the premises shall take place during the day so as to cause no traffic obstruction or interfere with surrounding businesses.
Extraction units shall be fitted in the kitchen to deal with noxious smells caused by cooking and the extraction units shall have a noise-limiting device fitted to them.
No Entertainment of an 'adult' nature shalll take place upon the licensed premises and any entertainment in the form of kissograms shall only be permitted through prior arrangement and must take place after 22.00 hours.
All children under 14 years of age shall only be permitted in the premises if accompanied by an adult.
Signs shall be displayed at the premises emphasising age restrictions.
Any cigarette machines shall be wall mounted and out of the reach of young children
