Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions
The restrictions on the times during which the licence authorises the sale by retail of alcohol on the premises, set out in part L of the Licensable Activities section of this licence do not prohibit:
(a) the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
The supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must:-
() only be made at a time when the premises are open for the purpose of supplying alcohol, in accordance with this club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises;
() be in a sealed container;
() only be made to a member of the club in person.
The admission of children under the age of 18 to film or video exhibitions permitted under the terms of this licence shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made by
(a) The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) where the film has been classified by that Board, or
(b) The Licensing Authority where no classification certificate has been granted by the BBFC or where the licensing authority has notified the licence holder that section 20 (3) (b) of the Licensing Act 2003 applies to the film
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The Club Manager, Steward and bar staff shall receive suitable training in relation to the statutory requirements and objectives, including those relating to children, of the Licensing Act 2003 and shall also comply with the provisions of the Act.
The Club Constitution shall include rules governing the conduct of members and their guests both within, and adjacent to the Club Premises.
Admission to the Club shall be confined to members and bona fide guests signed in by a host member.
Non members shall be permitted entry to the premises a maximum of 4 times per annum.
Members and guests who behave in a drunk or disorderly manner shall not be admitted to the premises or served.
Any misconduct shall be reported to the Club Committee for the consideration of action in accordance with the Club’s disciplinary code.
An appropriate Health and Safety and Fire Precaution policy shall be in place for the premises to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees and entertainers whilst on the premises.
The premises shall comply with an occupancy figure, set by the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
Printed notices shall be prominently displayed in the premises detailing the essential steps that must be taken if a fire is discovered or the fire alarm goes off or other emergency arises and how to call the Fire Service.
All emergency escape routes shall be clearly signposted.
Wheelchair access ramps shall be provided to the main door of the premises.
A clear, legible and conspicuous notice requesting patrons to avoid causing noise, nuisance or disturbance to local residents shall be displayed at every exit.
When regulated entertainment takes place, all reasonable steps shall be taken to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties.
No person under the age of 18 years shall be permitted on the premises unless accompanied by a member aged 18 years or over. Door control measures shall be in place to effect this.
Any person appearing to be under the age of 18 shall produce satisfactory proof of age when applying for membership to the Club.
Children shall vacate the bar area by 2100 hrs.
The Function Room bar shall not be available for junior events.
