Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises
No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
() at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
() at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 -Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Notices shall be displayed throughout the store advising that it is an offence for under 18s to purchase alcohol.
CCTV system shall be installed and maintained and CCTV tapes shall be retained for 28 days. Recordings shall be made available to the police and other agencies (including the local authority) on request.
A panic button shall be available for staff to use in cases of emergency.
A burglar alarm shall be installed on the premises.
All reasonable and appropriate requests of the Fire Officer must be complied with.
No deliveries are to take place between the hours of 11pm and 6am the following day.
All staff shall have received suitable training in relation to underage related sales of alcohol.
A Proof of Age Policy shall be operated and enforced.
“Challenge 21 Scheme” to be in place and notices of this are to be displayed prominently within the store.
There shall be an electronic till prompt when alcohol is scanned through tills in order to remind staff to check the age of the purchaser.
An incident book shall be maintained at the premises to record where sales of alcohol are challenged or refused.
