Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
The style and operation of the premises shall not differ significantly from that of a takeaway.
The premises shall be adequately illuminated and designed in an open plan manner so that all areas are readily visible to staff.
All refreshment produced shall be served in either cardboard or plastic containers.
Any drinks dispensed shall either be in cans or bottles.
A telephone shall be provided so as to enable staff to contact the Police in the event of an emergency.
There shall be at least 3 members of staff present on duty at the premises.
Any drunk person being abusive or threatening shall be instructed the premises.
Appropriate fire fighting equipment and fire precautions shall be maintained at the premises.
Any furniture in the waiting area shall be so placed so as to not cause obstruction to any escape routes.
All cooking equipment shall be regularly serviced, repaired and tested.
The departure of customers from the premises shall be effectively managed so that customers are encouraged to disperse and are prevented from congregating outside the premises.
In the event of a disturbance outside the premises, the Police shall be notified immediately.
The kitchen area shall be provided with a suitable extraction system to ensure that cooking, noxious or persistent smells generated at the premises do not cause nuisance.
Any background music played at the premises shall be at a level that is below conversational levels.
Appropriate notices shall be displayed at the exits from the premises requesting customers to leave quietly with respect for local residents when leaving the premises.
A free phone taxi service shall be available for use by customers.
No gambling machine or cigarette machine shall be installed in the premises.
Annex 3 - Conditions attached following a hearing by the Licensing Authority
The premises shall be equipped with a closed circuit television system, which is appropriate to its purpose and provided and maintained to the satisfaction of the enforcement authorities.
CCTV tapes shall be retained for 31 days and recordings shall be made available to the police upon request.
Risk assessments carried out by or on behalf of the Licence holder, which relate to a licensing objective shall be available for inspection by an officer of a responsible authority.
Frequent collection of all litter dropped within the vicinity of the licensed premises to be collected and removed at the licence holders expense at a frequency of not more than 60 minute intervals during the premises opening hours. This includes washing away to the gutter any spilled food.
