ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence
a. at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it or,
b. at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended
Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
All staff shall attend an alcohol awareness course.
The Designated Premises Supervisor or a personal licence holder shall be on the premises at all times.
No staff shall alcohol unless authorised by the Designated Premises Supervisor.
There shall be regular checks to ensure no illegal building activities are taking place on the premises.
The Premises Licence Holder shall join the local Pubwatch scheme.
There shall be no promotions of unlimited alcohol.
Outdoor lighting shall be provided for both wheelchair access and the garden.
Escape routes shall be kept clear at all times.
There shall be frequent collection of glasses and bottles.
There shall be adequate first aid and fire fighting provision.
Table service shall be provided at the premises.
Staff shall request customers to leave the premise quietly.
Lower noise levels shall be applied after 2230.
All windows and doors shall be kept closed except for access and egress and in the event of an emergency when regulated entertainment is taking place.
Soft and non alcoholic drinks shall be available.
The Premises Licence Holder shall adopt a Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
Another member of staff shall be nominated to act for the Designated Premises Supervisor, in their absence, whose identity is known by all other staff when such absence occurs.
The supply of intoxicating liquor shall be by waiter/waitress service only and to persons seated at tables.
There shall be substantial refreshment available at all times the premises are open for trade.
The licence holder and or DPS is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 Proof of Age policy. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: photo driving licence; passport; Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card; any other locally or nationally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
The premises shall be equipped with a closed circuit television system which is appropriate to its purpose and is provided and maintained to the satisfaction of the enforcement authorities.
The outside area of the premises shall be closed by 2230 and no persons shall be seated outside after this time.
Unaccompanied children are not allowed on the premises at any time. Members of staff are not allowed to be in the sole supervision of children, which remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
No persons under the age of 18 shall be allowed to enter or to remain on the premises after 9pm.
