ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence
a. At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it or,
b. At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended
Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The restrictions on the times during which the licence authorises the sale by retail of alcohol on the premises, set out in part M of the Licensable Activities section of this licence do not prohibit:
) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered
) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club
) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
A CCTV system shall be installed and maintained in the premises, such images to be made available to the Police on request for evidential purposes.
There shall be in place for the premises a policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age which requires any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years to produce a recognised documentation indicating that they are over 18 years of age. Notices shall be displayed advising that the Challenge 21 scheme is operated upon the premises.
The checkout/point of sale shall be manned at all times.
A full alarm system shall be installed and maintained at the premises.
All escape routes and exits, including external exits, shall be kept unobstructed, in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces, free of trip hazards and clearly identified.
All exit doors shall be easily openable without the use of a key, card or similar means and such doors shall be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily and any removable security fastenings shall be removed whenever the premises are open to the public.
Notices shall be displayed providing the fire evacuation procedure.
All staff shall have received suitable training in relation to basic health and safety and the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises.
All age-related products shall be supplied by authorised sale.
A refusals book shall be operated at the point of sale.
